IASC CONFERENCE: Creating a political voice for 'commons'By sdohrn, published at 8 July 2008 - 7:04pm, last updated 3 years 30 weeks ago. Next week the 12th Biennial conference of the International Association for the Study of Commons (IASC) will be held at the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, England. One of the events that are part of the conference will be a Policy Forum sponsored by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) on Tuesday (15 July) afternoon, which CAPRi helped organize on Creating a political voice for 'commons'. One of the questions we will be discussing is what an association like the IASC can do to support advocacy activities for the commons. I would be thrilled to convey any comments and suggestions you might have. |
