Ask the hasslebot to help your group cooperate

Hassle Me is a service that lets you set up automated reminders to be sent via email. Tell the hasslebot to remind you to call your mother about every week, and you'll get an email to that effect. In my case my phone's email client makes it easy to dial a number from it so I can click twice and connect.

The interesting cooperative aspect of Hassle Me is how it deals with groups. If you give it more than one name in the reminder list, it will pick one at random to send the reminder to. This gives you the opportunity of spreading out reminders over a wider population without needing to do much central coordiation.

This project was developed by mySociety, a UK group responsible for WriteToThem (formerly FaxYourMP). They developed it initially to remind them to post things to their blog.
